1. Who we are
MyBrokerTeam is a product of Aptura Health, LLC ("Aptura Health," "we," "us," or "our"). MyBrokerTeam is a CRM and workflow tool designed for licensed health-insurance brokers who sell ACA individual marketplace plans.

2. Information we collect
We collect two categories of information:
Information about brokers (our customers)
When a broker creates an account or requests a demo, we may collect: name, email address, brokerage name, and any information they provide in communications with us.
Information about brokers' clients (end-user data)
MyBrokerTeam helps brokers manage client information on behalf of their clients. This includes household information, budget details, and health coverage needs that brokers enter or that are imported from client communications. This data belongs to the broker and their clients, not to Aptura Health. We process it only as directed by the broker.
We take the privacy of health-related information seriously. MyBrokerTeam is designed to align with HIPAA security standards, utilizing AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, and detailed audit logging. If you have specific compliance requirements or need to review our Business Associate Agreement (BAA), please contact us directly.
3. How we use information
Broker information is used to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the MyBrokerTeam service.
- Communicate about your account, updates, and support requests.
- Respond to demo requests and onboarding inquiries.
Client end-user data is processed only to provide the service to the broker. We do not sell, share, or use end-user data for advertising or any purpose other than operating the service.
4. Data security
We use industry-standard security practices including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take data protection seriously and will notify affected users promptly in the event of a breach.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain broker account data for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to fulfill legal obligations. Brokers may request deletion of their data by contacting us. Client end-user data may be deleted at the broker's direction.
6. Third-party services
MyBrokerTeam may use third-party service providers (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, or email delivery) who may process data on our behalf. We require service providers to maintain appropriate security and use data only as directed.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves or as legal requirements change. We will update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify active users by email.
